War of the Worlds - 70th Anniversary "Broadcast"	October 29th 7:30pm	The classic radio broadcast of 1938, that panicked a nation and immortalized Orson Welles, will be brought to vivid life by La Legion Fantastique, in a 70th anniversary performance. The infamous radio drama will be presented live on the stage of the Castro Theatre. Transport yourself back to the golden age of radio, and see why this is The Earth's "favorite invasion". 2006 Dates

Avalon Rising went to China!
Avalon Rising had a great time at the Euro-American Festival in Shandong, China, May 1st -7th! Produced by International Special Attractions, Ltd. (with offices in Shanghai and Branson, Missouri), and sponsored by the Shan Dong Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film, & TV, the Festival is held each May for the purpose of celebrating the Chinese Labor Day. ISA also produces shows featuring extreme sports and tours featuring international musicians such as San Francisco's own classical and world virtuoso violinist Daniel Kobialka.

We did three performances a day for the week of the Festival, on a great ampitheater stage in the Jinan Botanical Gardens. This is the third year of the festival, which has been held in Shanghai. This year they added performances in the city of Jinan in the Shandong province, roughly in between Shanghai and Beijing.

By special request, Kristoph, Scott and Mark sported new Utilikilts onstage...apparently, *all* the Celtic rock bands are wearing them.
