Dickens Christmas Fair 2009 December Missive #2
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
|
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Notes from your Missive Maven:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Breaking records and
taking names! Looking good!
I
know you might not all have time to read the entire missives, but
please at least check the "In This Missive" and skim the rest. I get
lots of requests for information that was already in the missive,
sometime several times. Thanks!
Thanks again to all those folks who will be helping with the BPM party
this Saturday evening. Without Steve
Mayer and his company we wouldn't have our Great Dickens Christmas
Fair. (for details on the party, see previous missive)
Please
read all the information carefully and save and/or print it for further
reference.
Please remember to contact the folks referenced in each notice, rather
than hitting "reply".
Past missives can be viewed at http://www.cattaylor.com/missives.html
Thanks and see you Saturday morning!
We have a lovely new website at http://dickensfair.com
Many thanks to Greg Anderson of Fezziwigs, Becky Miller of Greenman,
and
Amanda Sanow, Fair Graphics designer and webmaster. They have
worked hard over the past year to
bring us into the modern age with a new, beautiful, and versatile
website! Many additions will be made in the coming
year as we now have a great new platform thanks to Greg, Becky and
Amanda....
Using
Other Folks Green Room Areas Without Their Permission?
Very Uncool!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It has come to our attention that someone has been using other folks
green room
areas without their permission, using their supplies and leaving a mess
behind.
This is extremely uncool. Please don't do it and tell your friends not
to do
it. 'Nuff said.

221B
(Game)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(from Renata Phillippi )
A company I use to work for developed this video based game online
based on
Sherlock Holmes (and the new movie coming out). Given we are in the
midst of
Dickens season, I thought this would be a good thing to share with the
cast: http://www.221b.sh/
PR Update
from Adrienne
After a big
media splash these past two weeks, the major PR placements are winding
down for
the season. However the great thing about online features (like Beth
Spottswood
being
"syndicated", which keeps our news fresh and popping up everywhere!
YOUNG
Two dozen
Fair performers including Queen Victoria and her entourage and carolers
entertained the hundreds of people waiting in line to see a sneak
Tavan's Facebook page: "Dickens Fair Royals Young Victoria".
Our next
interested in
participating, please be in touch with Joe Harney <cedyeus@yahoo.com>
I have some
