Dickens Christmas Fair 2006 December Missive #1 - Addendum
(sent December 7th, 2006)

Just two items for this week's addendum.... not bad....

The word for this weekend is "patience". We all get excited about what we're doing, but we can't all do it at the same time. Let's be aware, work with each other, be patient and above all... avoid drama... except the scripted or character improved kind of course... Have a great weekend,

Boddington's Ale Crisis!
(Carol Goodman forwards the following, which is not a hoax.)

Shipboard fire at the docks threatens supply of Boddingtons Pub Ale!
London's four finest pubs in financial panic for two days as the ship (and her liquid load) slowly sinks!

The past 48 hours have seen local brewers rush to keg sufficient quantities of brew to fill the sizable sales gap left by the absence of Boddingtons Ale. The Guild to Encourage Local Pubs and Brew Halls have voted and they agree: the winner is "Imperial Red" also known as Christmas Red produced by the boys of Lah-goo-knee-tuss (just south of Gwerth Wolleigh, near Petta Luma).

Please join us this coming weekend in lifting a pint of Imperial Red in memory of the lost Boddingtons Ale.  We will be waiting for you at the Leather Bottle, The Green Man Pub, The 3 Cripples and Mad Sal's Dockside Ale House.

Great Press!
(from Denise Lamott)

The View Form the Bay with Will Wood and Martin went great today.  The energy was fantastic and everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun. Turns our Spencer Christian was an English lit major in college!  You can view the segment at:
Scroll down and click on Scrooge and Father Christmas' face in the video section.

There was also a story in on Cherie Moore and Rupert Coles in today’s Marin Independent Journal Weekend:
