This Weekend's Schedule
Please see revised schedule, attached. (make sure to print in landscape orientation) I've also created a very rough map of the site, especially for the new folks, but also helpful to others as some things have changed.

Saturday we will have limited workshops and lots of rehearsals.

On Sunday, Dress Rehearsal Day there is a mandatory morning meeting at 10:00AM, followed by the All Fair Character Round Robin. The stages will not be running a fair day schedule as it's the shows first time on their stages and they'll need the time to figure out the tech, etc. Some of the groups will be running a fair day schedule however, please check with your director for specifics.

Area 51 at the Operations Trailer
This weekend, Area 51 (the registration desk) will be at the Operations Trailer in the breezeway. Don't forget those jelly beans!

Mandatory Morning Meeting Sunday Morning 10:00AM in Fezziwig's
It's very similar to the meeting we had the first morning of workshops, with introductions and lots of very useful information. Be there in costume if possible (If you're building something and can't be in costume, we understand) so we can all get used to interacting as our characters, which brings me to:

All Fair Character Round Robin
Please join us right after the general meeting on Sunday for the All Fair Character Round Robin! This was very fun last year and helped everyone involved with their own characterizations as well as knowing how to interact with each other's characters. We're still updating the specifics at press time, but be there in costume and character to better unify all of us into one big cast!

Lost & Found at the Operations Trailer
There were many items left at the school last weekend. If you have lost something, please check at the Operations Trailer in the breezeway.

Telegraph Booth Needs Workers
(from Karen Porter)
From the Telegraph Booth:  Thanks for the help on the coal.  Now, how about a few good men and women.  We are still looking for messengers and caligraphers.  Messengers should be outgoing and be able to project, not yell.  For the caligraphers, I am more concerned with neat, legible handwriting than fancy calligraphy.  Don't forget that we pay and have a flexible working schedule.  Refer questions to Karen at theonlygypsyrose@netscape.net

Actor's Calling Cards
(from Don Cox)
Deadline for card orders is this weekend. Once you have ordered, please make sure to pick up your cards before the end of middle weekend of Fair (3rd weekend-Dec. 10th)  Sully is requesting the same donation as last  year: $15 for 150 cards, payable when you pick them up. The booth will be across from the V&A Music Hall.

Forms (helpful but not required) may be found near the Operations trailer in the breezeway.  Please include your real name and contact information (phone, email, where at Fair, etc.) and what you wish on  your cards.  Sully's email is faireprinter@yahoo.com

Entré Acte Auditions
(from Jeffrey Weissman)
Auditions for the Entré Acte will be held Sunday at the V&A stage at 3:30. Please come prepared to rehearse immediately if you are chosen.

Annie's Hoops and Hair Update!
(from Annie Lore)
If my hoop lady comes through with the new batch in time, I'll have all ordered hoops at the Cow Palace on Saturday, plus a couple of extra hoops that can be bought on the spot. All wig and hairpiece orders are in. If you don't encounter me at Fezziwig's or out and about, look for me in the Breezeway near the office during lunch. I'll be posting --and wearing-- yellow "HOOPS AND HAIR" signs. Any questions? Write me (Annie Lore) at ImminentIdea@aol.com.

News from Scrooge (Martin Harris)
My trip to Dickens Fair has been gilded with being asked to read for book-on-tape, the highly praised  A Ship's Tale by local author N Jay Young.  For those who love exciting sailing ship stories full of action, wonderful characters and romance on the high seas, visit www.ashipstale.com and read the reviews.

The organizers of the December Dickens Fair held here in the streets of Rochester Kent England that Dickens wrote so much about, send their best Christmas greetings and wish us all the best for a great run of performances in San Francisco...hands across the water!

Scrooge's CD's
(also from Martin)
As a Christmas gift to help participants with accents and gifts for Christmas, I have my newly packaged slim CD of me reading A Christmas Carol available before Fair starts for only $10 instead of the usual $20.  See me on Sunday at rehearsal.

Dance Learning Aids
(from Persephone)
Last week we had learning aids for the Hallelujah Chorus, this week Dance Learning Aids!  My husband and I are hosting a Victorian Dance practice this Saturday evening, at St. Anne's, 300 Lake St @ 4th, SF.  That's accessible from Muni and has a free parking lot.  We give a lesson in Victorian waltz at 8pm, and play recorded music 9-12, during which time we answer questions, help people with steps, teach set dances... whatever fills the need of dancers present.  We ask $7 for the lesson and dance ($5 after 9), much of which will be donated to St Anne's.  For those who couldn't make it to Cathleen's dance classes, because you were too busy rehearsing your show, building your booth, etc during the day-- this is your chance to come out in the evening and get your crash course in Victorian dances before Dickens opens.  For details on this and other waltzing opportunities, see http://www.VintageWaltz.com
