Postcards Auditions - Cast & Crew
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(from the Agony Aunts, Diana & Sarah)
CAST:
Saucy French Postcards is casting for Greek Gods.  Could you be Poseidon?  Maybe Zeus?  How about the Great God Pan?  Okay, maybe a faun or a satyr?  We're looking for their feminine counterparts, as well.  Fancy yourself as Demeter or Cybele?  Or even Venus  ... or Great Isis, Mistress of Magic. Perhaps one of the Graces, or a wild nymph or maenad?
CREW:
The show needs a number of unseen heroes, as well as the visible cast.  These are the people who really make the thing happen.  If you are interested in working the backstage crew, come see us.  We are looking in particular for dressers to assist the cast.  Don't laugh, you!  You might be surprised how many costumes are involved, and how much changing into and out of goes on.  And how much quick movement of props and fluffing of  drapery.  Seriously, it's hard work putting on this show!
COME SEE US at DCF Workshops on November 7, at the beginning of Postcards' Audition (exact time & location will be in the workshop schedule)  Any Questions?  Contact the Directrix, Diana Young-Peak at dgbyoung@aol.com
Ebenezer Scrooge Seeks Performance Opportunities
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(from Martin Harris)

Martin Harris, our own Ebenezer Scrooge, is looking to make himself available to spirited recipients who will take advantage of this rare opportunity to hear a quintessential English thespian from the Heart of Dickens Country give his dramatic reading of A Christmas Carol encouraging Q&A and sales of his reading on CD.  So if you have contacts with any schools, libraries, old folks homes, bookshops or corporate Christmas functions who would like to set a diamond in their Crown of Christmas Celebrations, please contact Martin at martinharrisusuk@hotmail.com

God Bless Us, Everyone!

Martin
