The Broadside Music Hall Seeks A Chairman
The Broadside Music Hall is seeking a Defense Against the Dark Arts Teach.....um...no.... a Chairman (M.C.) for the Dickens Christmas Fair in San Francisco as our beloved Chairman from last year has a great gig in December and cannot join us again this year. The Broadside Music Hall is a rowdy, comedic, lower-class Victorian English Music Hall style show, and includes some structured improv. Our cast is very supportive, and there is some pay.

The Chairman should be a charming, witty, confident, positive improv male actor between the ages of 35-60. Singing is not required, but would be a plus. Cockney dialect a huge plus. Please come prepared with a willingness to play, a loud clear voice, and a comic song preferably with practice tape in your key as we will not have an accompanist that evening..

Auditions are by appointment starting at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2005 in El Cerrito. Rehearsals will begin the evening of October 22 and will require one weekday TBD, and some weekend days TBD starting November 4th. Rehearsals will be in the East Bay, San Francisco & Pacifica. Performance dates: weekends Nov. 24- Dec. 23. Performances will be at the Cow Palace.

Volunteers Needed for the Traditional School

The Underhill Traditional School of Childrens Crafts is in search of volunteers for this years Dickens Christmas Fair.  If you like children, if you like being creative and fun, if you like making people smile, if you like being at fair, then the Traditional School is for you.
