The Great Dickens Christmas Fair 30th Anniversary!

Greetings from Charles Dickens London!

This is the year we celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Great Dickens Christmas Fair! 
Our artist elves have therefore been busy, busy, busy.

Humbug, you say? Why yes!! Even Mr. Scrooge will have a twinkle in his eye when he sees some of this swag.

Christmas has indeed come early this year for the Cow Palace as well!

It has been saved from greedy developers that would make even our dear Uncle Scrooge wag his finger, (Bah, Humbug!).  We are delighted to report that the Cow Palace will continue to be the home of the Great Dickens Christmas Fair and will undoubtedly play host to many new creative wonders and memory-making gatherings for decades to come!

Support the Fair by encouraging co-workers, friends and acquaintances to visit dickensfair.com.  We will notify you when the ticket page is ready to take orders.


The 2008 Schedule:
May 15th                Merchant Applications Due

June 15th               Merchants first Payment due or payment in full for 5% discount on total fee
August 15th             Merchants second payments due
October 15th    Merchants third and final payments due

November 8 - 9  Workshops begin offsite in Pacifica
November 15 -16 Vendor Steak out and build at CP (Workshops in Pacifica)
November 22 - 23        Build Continues (Workshops and Dress at the CP)

There will be NO vehicles allowed INSIDE the building for Dress Rehearsal, the 23rd.
November 28     OPENING FRIDAY  
November 29 - 30        Weekend #1
December 6 - 7  Weekend #2
December 13 - 14        Weekend #3
December 20 - 21        Weekend #4 CLOSING WEEKEND

December 22 & 23        Venue open from 8:00am - 6:00pm 
December 24th   CP Open limited hours for Christmas Eve - TBD
December 25th   VENUE CLOSED FOR CHRISTMAS
December 26 - 30th  Venue open from 8:00am - 6:00pm
December 30th   TAKE DOWN/CLEAN UP DEADLINE!
